It appears that world petroleum reserves may be heavily depleted in the next 30 to 40 years. It is therefore very important to explore viable, renewable and sustainable energy resources. Effective strategic plans to cope with the predicted future fuel crisis must be based on sound scientific approaches. At PetrOtech-ffn, the responsibility for resolving these issues has been assigned to an outstanding group of highly qualified scientists.

On late 2006 a research and development (R&D) Centre was established in Mansoura, Egypt by PetrOtech-ffn Egypt which is a subsidiary of PetrOtech-ffn USA headquartered at 730 Barnstable Road, Hyannis, MA 02601-1941, USA

		A primary mission of the R&D Centre is to interface with the international scientific community on sound research focused on exploring viable and renewable energy sources.
